Parsa Motahar is a sophomore at the UH Honors College. He is majoring in Nutrition with a minor in Chemistry. He plans to attend graduate school after obtaining his bachelor's degree. He enjoys being a Cougar Tutor because he believes it enhances students’ attitudes towards school. Outside of the organization, he enjoys skating, reading, and coding.

College Station, TX | Focus: Food Education
Our Focus
Last year, Panther Tutors focused on tutoring and mentoring students in person. We are working on transitioning to online activities to keep our members involved and students engaged. Our goals for this year is to continue building strong relationships with students, improve their math and science skills, and expand their interests. We are finding new opportunities and ways to keep our members involved with our chapter and community. Having strong connections with students is important to our chapter. Panther Tutors will continue finding ways to help the community through education.

Panther Tutoring
In our first year of tutoring at Hilderbrandt, our main goal was to make a connection with our students. We would go weekly to the middle school to help the students that didn’t pass the STAAR test the past year.
